This small singing group is for people aged 13 - 25.
Youth Choir Otautahi sings a wide variety of music - mostly contemporary songs and also some interesting older pieces.

Rachel is open to suggestions from anyone in the choir.
Some aspects of singing technique will be included in the classes and there will be opportunities for members to experiment with soloing if that’s their interest.

Each term we will give some sort of performance to share what we’ve put together with our friends and families.
You don’t have to be an experienced singer or feel very confident with singing to join but it’s good if you can sing in tune.
Ask Rachel if you’re not sure.
Bookings: Essential (Externally administered)
Contact: Rachel ph 379 8922

Prerequisites: There is no audition for this choir, and most people will learn all the skills they need while participating in the choir. However, some people may need extra help to develop basic pitch matching skills.
A commitment to regular attendance, and to being focused at rehearsals is essential.
Age Range 13 – 25.
(Those outside this age range, please enquire. We may be able to accommodate you.)
