More about Valerie
Valerie is a highly skilled and exceptional teacher who is now so busy that she has almost closed her home teaching studio.  We are so excited that Valerie has committed herself to being available for grass roots learners at The Muse.  Here is what some of the singers on her last Singing Musical Theatre course said in answer to the question. "How would you describe Valerie's teaching?"

"An all around fantastic teacher and mentor. Taught great techniques for warming up, memorizing words (and classmates names), gave great direction and constructive points for improving singing performance.  Directed the class from disaster to brilliance with humour, encouragement and talent.  Are there any songs she doesn't know the words to?"

"A lady who clearly knows what she’s doing, with a wealth of knowledge which she gives freely and expertly;  is firmly in control all the time;  only ever gives positive criticism;  is always objective and very sparing with praise (which I like because the occasional, “good”, gives huge satisfaction) – except when she’s encouraging all of us and then she is very generous;  holds our attention the whole time and is always encouraging.   Has us pushing our boundaries by giving us the tools to do so.  Makes the whole course hugely satisfying and enjoyable.
·        Kept us fully informed throughout."
