This class is for people who have no previous experience on the ukulele. You will learn all the basic skills needed to get started as a ukulele player, in a structured yet playful environment. The class is structured around progressively learning new chords and basic strums and then applying them immediately to well known songs. Participants will receive a play along CD and booklet to aid their at home practise. Ukuleles supplied!

If you have already played the ukulele, but are still a beginner, we suggest you go straight to the Stage Two Class.

Kerry McCammonThe Tutor: Kerry McCammon has been teaching and performing for over 30 years. He has toured extensively throughout NZ, Japan & England as part of the Natural Magic Theatre Company. A qualified High School & E.S.O.L. teacher, Kerry has found the ukulele to be the ideal instrument to facilitate all kinds of group singing and celebration.
