Lisa Tui brings a wealth of experience, working with people from a wide range of age and experience. She helps singers to understand how their voices work, while acknowledging the many factors that affect us, social, spiritual, physical and emotional.

Extended Bio

Lisa Tui Bainbridge (Tainui, Ngati Kahungunu) has taught singing and drama for over ten years and brings a wealth of experience as a tutor of adults and young people – for performers, choirs and group singers as well as individuals and new singers. Actively singing and song writing herself in a wide range of genres, she has performed a bit of everything – original funk, recorded contemporary art songs, sung jazz, taken up lead roles in music theatre, and wailed in the American gospel style for 5 years. She writes folk and country songs and sings with A Bit On The Side
a cappella group. When working with students she brings hers skills, experience and education and is qualified in Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Adult Education, Performing Arts and Voice Craft Int. Lisa
has trained as a trainer of sound healing and has years of private classical singing training.
